Suicide or Success – The Road to Real Estate Investing Success
Written by admin

Hi Friends,

The following story is true, heartfelt, and very sad because it was all for nothing. Please take a few minutes to read this and think about what I am saying. You are not so busy today that you don’t have 10 minutes. Besides, this story will change the way that you think about your real estate business.

My friend, John, committed suicide recently – gunshot wound to the head. I have known him over 20 years, he has suffered from terrible depression, and has talked about it for years. Everyone had noticed how he had slumped deeper into depression than normal. We all became seriously worried and many people tried to step in and offer help.

He had lost his income, his house was in foreclosure, he had gone through bankruptcy, he had hit rock bottom, and his house was going to sale that week. A mutual friend (John’s best friend) had tried to get him to stay with her in El Salvador, had stayed with him many nights, had offered him a free place to live, and we all prayed and begged him to accept help.

Late one night he took the step – he put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger. His 19 year old son found him. You can imagine the trail of devastation John’s death has left behind.

I have known Robert for over 15 years. Recently, he also took his own life. He, too, has suffered from depression for many years. When he was high – we was high. When he was low – it was scary. He, too, had financial trouble because of the economy – lost home, facing bankruptcy, failed business, and feeling hopeless. He gave away his birds, turned in his leased car, cleaned out his house and went into his bedroom and laid on an empty floor, in an empty house, alone, in despair, and took all his pills at once: anti- depressants, sleeping pills, the works. Robert also left behind a small child.

I have vacationed with, traveled with, had many dinners, done many business deals, and lived the good life with both Robert and John. I have been through hard times with them as well. This being the most difficult, of course.

There is another suicide that I read about in the paper. This person I didn’t know, but I have heard the story a thousand times. She was in foreclosure, her family had nowhere to go, no money, and no hope. She faxed the bank a note stating that by the time they auctioned off her house at 5:00 that day she would be dead and that it would stop the auction.

The bank called the police, they went to her home, and she was right – the sale was stopped because she had shot herself in the house that afternoon. Yes, her family did have a few more months of living there, but now the problem was compounded by the fact that a wife and mother was gone.

Suicide is a funny thing – many people are so deep into despair that even those closest to them often can’t see how deep the despair really is. They are so used to hiding it and putting on a good front that when it happens, everyone is completely floored and stunned. Some even talk about committing suicide for so many years that no one actually thinks they will take the step and really do it.

What did these people have in common?

Financial problems that seemed overwhelming. Each of these three people felt that this was a permanent problem with no solution so they used the only solution that they could think of – ended their lives to stop the problem. Sadly, it leaves many people consumed with guilt and saying “what if” for the rest of their lives.
In Foreclosure with no place to move, no money to eat, and the holidays to amplify the problem. No one wants to grow up and buy a home only to lose it to foreclosure. People can’t get past the embarrassment and the feeling of despair and hopelessness.
Depression – which can be brought on by anything (you don’t have to be crazy to be depressed). In fact, I recently went through several years of depression brought on by menopause and I, too, thought, “I’m not nuts so therefore I can’t be depressed. I’m happy, I love my life…impossible. I’m Dwan Bent-Twyford, single mom, run a multi-million dollar business, I am strong like a bull…what do I have to be depressed about?” Well, let me tell you – hormones can reek havoc on your system.
Facing bankruptcy – this is a very hard pill to swallow for many people. They are so embarrassed and can’t deal with it. What if a family member finds out, what if their neighbor finds out, what if their boss finds out…it would be the end of the world! Really? Really? Would it be? Hell no!

SO WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH YOU?

I have personally spoken to over 7,000 homeowners over the years. I didn’t work out a deal with everyone of them, I wasn’t able to offer a solution to each person, but I always offer hope, a prayer, I speak of one door closing and another opening and so on. I have had hundreds of people tell me that I was an angel sent from God and that I would not believe what they were thinking of doing just that very day. I knew – they were thinking of suicide. God has placed me in front of so many people that I knew were on the edge and I knew that God gave me the words they needed to hear to stop their train of thought.

So why couldn’t I stop the people I knew – you can’t save the world. You can only save the ones God gives you to save and you pray for the rest.

THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN: I see 99 % of the so called real estate guru’s telling you to never speak to a homeowner, do all your deals online, send offers through email, don’t bother with crying homeowners, remove the personal touch from this business setting, do more deals by not having to meet people face to face and so on.

FRIENDS – this is a people business, these homeowners are on the edge (for real), some are contemplating suicide, I met a couple who followed through with a murder-suicide! Can you even imagine how their children felt? It was the hardest deal I have ever done. I stayed in the deal to help the family cope with this terrible tragedy and to offer proper guidance.

I am laying down the law this year – I will not work with any students unless they are willing to door knock or pick up a phone and have PERSONAL contact with homeowners facing foreclosure. The economy isn’t going to get better this year. I believe this year will be the worst yet. I believe foreclosures are going to continue to climb, bankruptcies are going to climb, the government can’t continue to keep extending unemployment, people are getting desperate, there is a 3 to 5 year waiting list for Section 8 assistance nationwide, investors are going out of business by the handfuls, hard-moneylenders are dropping like flies, robbery is crazy, speakers are focusing on launches to pay their bills because most don’t know how to do deals, and they want to make it seem like you NEVER have to work to make money so that THEY can make money off of you.

PLEASE – I’m begging you – don’t get ripped-off or caught up in some BS marketing ploy that you believe will print you money while you sleep. There is no such real estate investing program. It isn’t possible, you must talk to homeowners; you must build a solid team – real estate agents, title companies, mortgage companies; you need an experienced guru who cares about YOUR success and who has already proven their own; you need a place to go for daily updates (our “members only” site is just $1 to try – www.investorsedgeuniversity.com/realestateprofits ), you need someone who will tell you the TRUTH not what you want to hear and much, much more.

People have begged us for years to partner with them and do deals for them. We are just too busy and focused on education and personally coaching you to try to manage a short sale negotiating team. Since we aren’t like the other speakers (the ones who send you to the Puppy Mill of real estate – the sales floor in Utah) we would only be willing to do short sales for students if WE were actually doing them – not some salesman reading from a program. 99% of you who have paid thousands of dollars for someone else to do shorts for you are all having a sales team in Vegas or Utah do them. The funny thing is that the same sales team works for all the gurus and most of the guru’s don’t even know it. We happen to know one of the managers personally who sent us a list that you would not believe of who they do shorts for.

They are telemarketers who read from a program. That is why none of your deals are closing. I spoke to a man at a live event just a few weeks back and he paid a very well known speaker to so shorts for him. He has submitted over 30 short sales and not ONE has closed! How could that be? Because you are sold a bill of goods and nothing is delivered… it’s very sad and upsetting to us.

We don’t narrow our business to just short sales like so many other people have. Markets change all the time and if all you know how to do is short sales, you could find yourself out of business in this crazy market. We teach our students how to make millions doing short sales, wholesaling deals, buying long-term rentals, buy and selling silver, working with credit repair, and SO much more. We are a UNIVERSITY and we focus on how to help you gain “Wealth Thru Wisdom.”

We have made hundreds of millionaires along the way and will continue to do so. Since people keep begging and begging us to do short sales for them, we have decided to offer a very small, very elite program that gives you the opportunity to work with my personal short sale dude…Jim Ferebee.

Jim has closed almost 500 short sales and is the newest member of our team. He started out like many of you with no real estate experience and become a true superstar. In fact, we worked for Ford Motor Company and after he closed a few short sales he realized his job was in the way of him making money…lol. We have decided to do short sales for smoking hot students on a very limited basis. We are doing this in a partnership style and are going to work hand-in-hand with only 7 additional partners. I don’t want Jim so busy that he can’t keep up with his personal deals.

The investment is just $1,497 and is a one-time investment. After that we split the deals 75/25. 75% to you, of course, and 25% to us. We become business partners.

I am offering several additional FREE bonuses for the next 24 hours only:

*Shorts Done For You $1,497 – We do deals for you so you can build a multi-million dollar business

*Foreclosure Fortunes $1,297 – You learn how to find deals and speak to people with confidence

*TWO VIP TICKETS TO OUR NEXT FORECLOSURE SUMMIT – $2,497 – Learn to buy rentals and use our team to do it

A FREE coaching session with our team every other Friday…PRICELESS!

Friends – We have already accepted several partners and things could not be going better. I feel in my heart there are a few of you out there who realize that this year will make or break your real estate investing career! If I am speaking to your heart, then it is time to step-up, work with us, let us hold your hand as you build a business you can count on.

Don’t be one of the thousands of investors who will go bust this year – build a solid business that will support and care for you and your family so that you don’t find yourself thinking unspeakable things.

I am limiting this to SEVEN as I don’t want to overstress my short sale dude. You must call me at 303-870-8851 immediately and tell me why I should pick you. I will only pick seven additional partners. We sign a partnership agreement and you and I go into business together. Having a partner with 20 years experience, who has personally closed over 1,500 deals, who has spoken to thousands of homeowners and banks will guarantee your success.

Friends – it doesn’t get any easier than that. Cut your learning curve by 20 years and make it in this terrible economy! Be one of the FEW who come out ahead, help hurting homeowners, and save a life. I will guarantee that ANY investor who is worth their weight in salt has saved many a homeowner from taking the next step and didn’t even know it.

This is your year to be a blessing to someone!

Be a Blessing,

Dwan Bent-Twyford

Your advice is very dangerous. We have strict foreclosure laws. If you talk to a homeowner in my state who is 60 days past due on their mortgage payment you could endup in jail for 3 years. You are not even allowed to advertise to people 60 days past due.

      Hi Fred,

You must live in Maryland…lol. As long as you follow the rules there is a TON of money to be made there.
